Our creative ad specs for banner and video ads.

Having optimized advertisements ensures that your campaign will be a success. It is important to take the time and review your ads specifications to prevent any issues that could prevent your campaign from running.

Banner Ads Creative Must Also Do the Following:

  • Include the advertiser's logo and/or name
  • Not be directed at a specific individual
  • Not use vulgar language and imagery
  • Link to the advertiser's own website
  • Have the proper legal disclaimer when necessary (political, medical, etc...)

The top 8 sizes above are our main recommendations based on inventory and historical results, but including more sizes will result in you getting more impressions.  Any ads not meeting these specs will not run.

Creative must include a logo, name, or other identifying element as to who the advertiser is.

Video Specs

Tips: :30s and :15s have the most common inventory.  Make sure that your spot's length is exactly the same or a little shorter than the inventory you want to tap into.  Example: If a :30 spot is actually 00:30:01+, it will run in the :45 inventory, which there is a lot less of on some publishers.  If it's exactly :30 or a hair under, it'll run in :30 inventory. Creative must include a logo, name, or other identifying element as to who the advertiser is.

Video Spec Standards:

  • File Type: MP4 (h.264)
  • File Size Cannot Exceed 200MB
  • Dimensions: 1920x1200px and 1920x1080px
  • Audio Bitrate: 160 kbps or higher
  • Video Bitrate: 5.4 mbps or higher
  • Validation will prevent a larger video from being uploaded

Tips: :30s and :15s have the most common inventory.  Make sure that your spot's length is exactly the same or a little shorter than the inventory you want to tap into.  Example: If a :30 spot is actually 00:30:01+, it may run in the :60 inventory, which there is a lot less of on some publishers.  If it's exactly :30 or a hair under, it'll run in :30 inventory. Note, some publishers, such as Spotify, don't accept ads that are longer than :30. Creative must include a identifying audio element as to who the advertiser is. All audio ads must be accompanied with at least 1x 300x250 banner ad.

Audio Ad Lengths:

Audio Spec Standards:

  • File Type: .MP3
  • Audio Bitrate: Must be a minimum ff 320 kbps or higher
  • File Size Cannot Exceed 200 MB
  • We cannot encode third-party files lower than the rate at which they are set

  • File Size Recommended: 200kB
  • File Size Maximum: 200 MB
