How does geofence advertising technology work?
Some outdated geofence targeting solutions use radio-frequency identification (RFID), beacons, Wi-fi only, and Bluetooth technology, but Qujam is built on the most sophisticated geofence targeting technology available. We hyper-target people who have been to a specific location using GPS satellites as the primary form of targeting but will also layer on Wi-fi data (if available) for an extra tier of accuracy. In the United States of America, about 90% of mobile devices have GPS turned on at any given time. This targeting is just as accurate as the GPS you use on your phone's map app, which is about 4.9 meters or roughly 16 feet.
What devices can receive ads from geofence targeted ads?
Cross-device matching allows us to serve ads to smartphones, tablets, TVs, and computers!
Most of the devices we initially capture are smartphones. They are the devices people mainly carry and are highly likely to have GPS turned on. Thanks to Cross-Device Matching though, we can identify other devices that are linked to the originally captured device to serve ads (OTT/CTV, Video Pre-roll, and Display Ads) across a consumer's network of devices. Examples include television, computer, tablets, and smartphones.
Every current geofencing advertising provider has a combination of at least two of the below hurdles for their customers (as we like to call them, "closed doors"). Qujam is developed to open every one of these doors.
